HEATING

Heating for the room your boiler never reaches

The same unit that cools in summer is a heat pump, so it heats in winter. It delivers roughly three units of heat for every unit of electricity it draws, and it warms a room in minutes rather than the half hour a radiator takes.

One cold room, and a whole gas system fired to warm it

Most homes have one room the heating never quite reaches, and most people solve it by turning the whole system up. You are then paying to heat every room to fix one of them.

A heat pump in that one room warms just that room, on demand. It does not burn anything, so there is no flue, and because it moves heat rather than making it, most of what comes out was already in the air outside.

The rooms people call us about

Loft conversions

A long pipe run from the boiler, one undersized radiator, freezing all winter after roasting all summer.

Home offices

Used all day while the rest of the house sits empty. Heating one room beats heating six.

Garden rooms and garages

Converted spaces with no pipework running to them and no practical way to add it.

Extensions

Where adding a radiator means lifting finished floors to chase pipes across the house.

Flats with electric heating

Storage heaters that give up their heat by mid afternoon and have none left by evening.

Rooms with nowhere for a radiator

Glazing on two walls, fitted furniture on the third, and no wall left to hang anything on.

Being straight with you: what this is not

It is not a replacement for your boiler. It heats the room it is in. It will not heat your hot water and it will not warm the rest of the flat.

What it does do, very well, is take one problem room off your hands for a fixed price in a day, and cool that same room in July.

Tell us which room

Send a photo of the wall and the room. You will get a fixed written price back, usually the same day.
