Plenty of London flat owners have been told they cannot have air conditioning. The reason is nearly always the same: a normal system needs a condenser fixed to the outside of the building, and the freeholder, managing agent or conservation officer says no.

What makes our units different

A monoblock unit keeps everything inside the room. The compressor, condenser and evaporator all sit in one slim wall unit, and the only thing that leaves the room is air, through two neat grilles in the outside wall. There is no box on the wall, no pipework and no bracket.

It heats as well as cools

The unit is a heat pump, so it moves heat rather than making it. In winter it gives around three units of heat for every unit of electricity it uses, which makes it far cheaper to run than plug in electric heaters. In summer it cools, and all year round it can dry the air to help with condensation.

Is it right for you?

It suits flats, conservation areas, loft rooms and home offices where an outdoor unit is not allowed or not wanted. If your wall can take a condenser and nobody objects, a split system may be quieter, and we will tell you that honestly.

What it costs

Our winter sale price is £1,595 supply and fit for one room, with 0% VAT, for the first ten customers who book this winter. Any extras will be advised at survey.
